Esther Jurgens is a medical sociologist (MSSc, 1990) offering consultancy services in international health. Established in 2007, Esther Jurgens Consultancy provides services to national and international clients in public health, research and programme management. Areas of specialisation include health policy, sexual and reproductive health, child and adolescent health, gender, community participation.

Esther Jurgens is a committed professional with extensive experience in project development, programme management and research. She has long term experience in Latin America and the Caribbean (for UNICEF), and in the Netherlands (for several local public health and health care institutions). From 2005 onwards Esther Jurgens provides short and medium term services (worldwide) in the area of programme / project development and management; research; training and facilitation.
